Truth Telling
The first African Aboriginal migrants arrived on the north west coast of Australia between 65,000 and 40,000 years ago. The Aboriginal people eventually populated the continent of Australia developing a subsistence economy hunting birds, fish and animals and harvesting edible plants.
"Subsistence" is understood as supporting oneself and family at a minimum level. Basic subsistence is the provision of food, clothing, shelter. A subsistence economy is an economy directed to one's subsistence rather than to the market. Often, the subsistence economy is moneyless and relies on natural resources to provide for basic needs through hunting and gathering. In a subsistence economy, economic surplus is minimal and only used to trade for basic goods, and there is no industrialisation.
In hunting and gathering societies, resources are often, if not typically underused.

noun
A relatively large group of people organized under a single, independent government; a country.
The territory occupied by such a group of people.
"We are one nation, united under one flag."
The government of a sovereign state.
It is misinformation to call Aboriginals ‘ First Nation [1] people’. They lived a subsistence life and there was no organised independent government ever established. Therefore, there was never a Nation [1] established by the first African migrants.

All Australians are custodians [2] of the land called Australia regardless of when the first custodians arrived.

We are united as one nation under one Australian flag.
The following statements and variations are racially discriminatory comments found on numerous Australian Government, public and private organisations websites. It segregates one African migrant race, Aboriginal, against all other migrant races in Australia.
(organisations name) - acknowledges First Australians as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this land and pays respect to Elders – past and present – and through them to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
(organisations name) - acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land the clubs are located on, the Walbunja Clan of the Yuin people. We recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community and we pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging .
Paying respects to one race just because they are the first to arrive is divisive, destructive and can be offensive to other Australians.
