This week’s games were -
Rod Holman and Rob Coulson (skip) played Rhys Budnick and Baxter Smith (skip) and in a very close game Baxter’s team led 8 to 7 after 11 ends and they got away to a 16 to 10 lead after 17 ends and 21 to 14 after 19 ends before Rob’s team won the last 3 ends and got up on the line for a 23 to 21 win.
Rod and Rob backed up to play Sue Waldock and Jeremy Seaton (skip) and Sue and Jeremy started well to lead 11 to 5 after 11 ends but after 14 ends the scores were level at 11 all. After 16 ends the score was 12 all but after that Rod and Rob upped their game to take the remaining ends for a 26 to 12 win.
In the remaining match Pam Grant and Jim Constan (skip) played Tony Gors and Les Waldock (skip) and after a close first half where Tony and Les led 12 to 9 after 12 ends they really attacked the jack to race away for a 31 to 9 win.
