We had Green 2 back in action this week

We had 52 bowlers enjoying the summery conditions with winners decided by Highest Winning Margin.

 First prize went to Greg Mitchell, Mark Bartrop and Mitch Mitchell (skip) who were trialling for the State Titles as they played top bowls all day for an all the way win against Gordon Foster, Jeff McCusker and Peter Hiscox (skip).

Second prize went to Les Waldock and John Scott (skip) who were down 6 to 7 after 5 ends before they got their act together as they managed to win the game against John Voytas, Cindy Newell and John McNamara (skip).

We had 3 rinks of triples and a rink of pairs and winners were decided by Highest Winning Margin and Graeme Howden and Cindy Newell (skip) combined admirably to take 10 of the 1st 11 ends to lead 13 to 2 and they continued their great bowls to keep a good margin as they won their match 21 to 12 against Pieter Vos and Peter Jones (skip).
